Sign In FAQ

If you're a high school student or a parent of a K-8 student at a school using Rang, you don’t need to create an account! High school students should log in with their school email. K-8 parents should use the email provided to the school as parent contact information.

Only parents and students at live partner schools can log in. If you'd like more info about how Rang works for teachers, or how to get your school on Rang, please email help@rang.com or use the Contact Us form on rang.com and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Students, use your school email! K-8 Parents, use the email address you provided to your child's school as your contact information. If you're not sure, email help@rang.com or fill out the Contact Us form on our website with your name, your student’s name (if applicable), and your school and we'll help you out.

With “Sign In With Email,” you'll receive an email from us with the subject line “Sign In To Rang“ - click the button inside that email to log in (keep in mind, the email expires after 20 minutes). This is the easiest way to log in to Rang! If your email is hosted by Google (like @gmail.com, or your school uses Google for Education), you can also use “Sign In With Google” and enter your email address and password to log in.

User Not Found: This means we can't find an account with that email.

Not Authorized/No Access: This means you may have a Rang account, but your account setup may not be complete. Reach out to us!

Session Error: The login link in the email you clicked is expired—try signing in again.

If something else is wrong, or you're getting a not found or not authorized error and you think you shouldn't be, please email help@rang.com or submit a Contact Us form and let us know the email address you used and what happened when you tried to log in.
